one-day special event.

Keynote address: “Concepts of Freedom and War: Abraham Lincoln and
‘Stonewall’ Jackson” presented by noted Civil War scholar James I.
Robertson, Jr., who served for more than four decades as professor of
history at Virginia Tech.

Q&A: moderated by Antonio Mora, anchor for CBS4 and ALBF board member

Panel Discussion: “The Emancipation Proclamation at 150: The Story of
Freedom in the Steven Spielberg Era” moderated by Harold Holzer, ALBF
Chairman and author of 43 books, including the recent Emancipating Lincoln:
The Emancipation Proclamation in Text, Context, and Memory (2012) and
Lincoln: How Abraham Lincoln Ended Slavery in America (2012), the official
young adult companion book to the Steven Spielberg film.
