Not wanting to swim in the overcrowded pool of events, art fairs and gallery openings that Art Basel weekend has become, we’re diving straight into our Basel exhibition the weekend following our monthly Average Joe Art Sale with the opening of our Basel exhibition titled, “mIconic.”

As the name suggests, we decided to make our first ever Art Basel exhibition an ode to the city we love so much. Local and international artists alike will deliver their spins on classic (aka iconic) Miami images, covering everything from the Coppertone Girl, flamingos, hurricanes, Miami Vice and way too many more to list here.

The opening party will be held on the evening of the 2nd and feature a live performance by one of our favorite local bands, Arboles Libres.

We can’t go into too much more detail at this point as certain elements are still being finalized, but we’ll be putting out another press release next week with more information.
