Month-Long Celebration Highlights the City’s Live Music Venues and Performances

The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) proudly announces the Third Annual Miami Live Music Month, set to take place from November 1 – 30, 2012. Each week, during this thirty-day celebration designed to increase awareness of Greater Miami & the Beaches’ live music scene, locals and tourists will enjoy an impressive line-up of live musical performances throughout the community.

During Miami Live Music Month, top live music venues in the area will showcase live performances by both established and up and coming local musicians. Now in its 3rd year, Miami Live Music Month is part of the GMCVB’s Miami Temptations program, which offers year-round monthly promotions such as Miami Spa Month (July – August), Miami Spice (August – September) and Miami Attractions Month (October – November 21st).

“Miami Live Music Month gives music lovers an opportunity to immerse themselves in our community’s eclectic live music scene and experience the region’s vast range of live music venues,” says William D. Talbert III, CDME, GMCVB President & CEO.  “Our goal is to have everyone dance their way into the holiday season.”

Saturday, November 3 – Miami Live Music Kick-off Event at Grand Central
Thursday, November 8 – Burgerliscious at Ponce Circle Park
Saturday, November 10 – Ultimate Miami Live Bands at Magic City Casino
Thursday, November 15 – NASCAR Concert at Lummus Park
Saturday, November 17 & Sunday, November 18  -  Miami Jazz Fest at Klipsch Amphitheater at Bayfront Park
Sunday, November 28 – MSFF Music Day Event at The Goose
