This year’s 42nd annual South Florida International Auto Show will reopen as the Miami International Auto Show on Friday, November 9th and will run through Sunday, November 18th at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Enclosed is a fact sheet and photo cutline highlighting the signature event.
 
Reopening as the Miami International Auto Show, this redesigned event is expected to draw close to 650,000 people and it is the season’s first major U.S. auto exhibition.       
 
In addition, the Miami International Auto Show will launch three all-new attractions for old and new fans alike. These recently added components serve as additional exhibition areas dedicated to providing visitors with a first-hand look at some of the industry’s latest products and services, while also aiming to satisfy entertainment-seeking crowds.
 
Hundreds of vehicles will be on display.  Cars, trucks, vans, sport utility vehicles, hybrids and concept cars exhibited by the world’s leading automotive manufacturers. 
 
Topless In Miami – NEW! Spotlighting the industry’s hottest convertible cars in a picturesque Miami environment. This unique display is presented in part by SAMA, the Southern Automotive Media Association.
 
Eco Experience – NEW! Showcase electric and hybrid vehicles, and provide informational sessions about alternative energy, while also inviting show-goers to experience an electric car test drive INSIDE the main hall. 
 
Havana Classics – NEW! A beautiful display showing off a special group of coddled and restored cars from the 1950s that recapture lazy days in Havana. This unique display is presented in part by T-51 Telemundo. 
 
Camp Jeep – Offers visitors off-road driving experience to demonstrate the legendary 4×4 capabilities of Jeep vehicles.
 
Ride & Drive Events –Visitors will have the opportunity to test drive their favorite 2013 Volkswagen, Hyundai, Cadillac, Chevy, Buick, GMC, Kia, Toyota, Nissan and Chrysler models.
 
Million Dollar Alley – McLerran, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus and Aston Martin will be among the extravagant lines featured in this exhibit.
 
Memory Lane – Classic cars, some dating back more than half a century, will be showcased.
