Internationally recognized rock-reggae singer KÄ“vens will headline this year’s Bayjama Reggae Festival. KÄ“vens will be showcasing his revolutionary, recently reinvented style of music with a dubstep beat along with his classics. He progresses reggae music into the next century by fusing it with underground aesthetics that are truly unique to his work.  Kevens recently released his new single “My Baby Boo” which is available on iTunes, Amazon.com, and Spotify. KÄ“vens and his band will reinvent the dubstep sound without the use of turntables making his performance revolutionary.
 
The festival was founded by Islamorada Community Entertainment (ICE), a nonprofit organization that produces annual entertainment favorites in the Keys. Proceeds from this event will award high school students with art, music and dance scholarships. ICE President David Feder notes that over the past 17 years, ICE scholarships have enabled students to pursue their artistic dreams.
