Our 38th installation of “for artists….BY ARTISTS” will feature a A Fine Art Digital Photography (BodyPaint) Essay of Breast Cancer Survivors by Michael D. Colanero. This digital essay will present the photography of 25 survivors that have stepped forward to partake in this remarkable exhibition. In addition 7 DJ’s have offered to show their support for Breast Cancer Awareness by spinning on Sunday, October 14th.
The objective of ‘for artists……BY ARTISTS’ (www.facebook.com/forartistsByArtists) is to cr
eate a social colony for artists from all disciplines of the arts with the focal point being on painters, photographers, designers and sculptors. Utilization of the technology at Haven and maximizing its potential is what sets this weekly exhibition apart from others.

So far 25 brave and incredible women have selflessly stepped forward and been painted for the project.
I may be the creator but these SURVIVORS are the project. Everything is a true collaboration of the women the body painter(s) and my work as well. All of it then shared and appreciated by the people it touches. Every link in the chain is important :-)
