Season’s 52 hosted and exclusive private preview of their Autumn Menu/Wine list By Betty Alvarez

I always love to attend the private tastings of a restaurant as it gives me the opportunity to try out their menu varieties such is the case at Season’s 52. They hosted an exclusive wine dinner at the private event space. What is always different than the others is the live-steam introduction of the new menu from Season’s 52’s Director of Culinary Chef Clifford Pleau and Master Sommelier Goerge Milliotes.

The highlight of the menu was a sneak peak at the exciting new selections for the “Drink them Before their Famous List” selected personally by Goerge.

The cocktail reception included the Vista Hills Orange Pino Gris, Willamette’ 11 paired with Portobello Mushroom Flatbread and double hummus and Sea Salt Lavish. The first course consisted of Farrier Andiron Semillon, Alexander ’09 wine paired with Cider-Glazed Grilled Chicken Skewers. Second Course continued with Avanthia Godello, Valdeorras ’10/’11 paired with Maple Leaf Farms Sesame Duck Salad. The third course was Tillia Bonarda, Mendoza ’11’12 wine paired with All-Natural Piedmontese Steak. Fourth Course (almost there!) was Michael David Petit Petit, Petite Sirah, Lodi ’09/’10 and Glenelly Cabernet Sauvignon, Stellenbosch ’10 wine with Manchester Farms All-Natural Grilled Quail. Obviously, the fifth course was the dessert which was obviously the mini indulgence introducing the Pumpkin Mini indulgence.

A good experience had by all and can’t wait to try this again.
