Seminole Casino Coconut Creek is proud to announce “Pink It Up,” an initiative to support Breast Cancer Awareness throughout October. All month long, guests can purchase a “Pink It Up” t-shirt for $10 or a wristband for $2 at the Player’s Club Xperience, as well as elect to add $1 to their bill at any casino restaurant. All proceeds will benefit Memorial Health Services and Gilda’s Club of South Florida.

“We are proud to offer “Pink It Up” as an opportunity for our guests to get involved and support such a worthy cause this October,” said Steve Bonner, president of Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. “Although many great strides have been made in breast cancer awareness and treatment, there remains much to be accomplished and we are dedicated to doing all that we can to make a difference.”

Gilda’s Club South Florida (GCSF) is a free cancer support community for women, men, children, and teens with all types of cancer. The club offers more than 60 networking groups, lectures, workshops, specialized children’s and teen programs, and social events monthly in a nonresidential, non-medical, home-like setting.

In 1997, GCSF moved into its first “home” in office space donated by Memorial Healthcare Services. In 1999, GCSF moved to its current home – a warm, welcoming, historic house in downtown Fort Lauderdale on the Tarpon River. GCSF membership is currently more than 3,000 adults and 500 children.
