The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Chairman’s Reception formally welcoming Darla Thompson as our new Chair as she begins her term on September 1st.

Get a head start on the long holiday weekend and join us as we celebrate the commencement of a new Chamber year and recognize our new Chair, Darla Thompson of Cherry Bekaert & Holland and her 2012 – 2013 Board of Directors.
Darla is a senior tax manager with Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, LLP, a full service CPA firm providing audit, tax, and consulting services from several offices in the southeastern USA. With over 25 years of experience and accomplishments, Darla is known for her exceptional service, extensive knowledge and ability to advise her clients in the right direction. Both personally and professionally, Darla’s high level of commitment and enthusiasm continues to earn respect among colleagues, friends and family.
“When I meet new or potential Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce members, I tell them right away that we are first and foremost a people organization. I tell them that their biggest advantage will be the extraordinary resources of their fellow members; and, how they will benefit from the whole being greater than the sum of its parts,” said Chair Darla Thompson.

The Chairman’s Reception is also a great opportunity for members to learn more about the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, meet the Chamber leadership for the upcoming year and strengthen relationships and opportunities through the Chamber. The Board of Directors and Ambassadors will be present, sharing their commitment to helping achieve our Chamber’s annual goals.
