This event is open for the public to attend. Tickets to the luncheon are $75 per person.
Sawgrass Mills, the largest outlet and value retail shopping destination in the U.S. with more than 350 stores, will flaunt its incredible selection of designer and luxury brands during a high-energy fashion runway showcase as part of the Hispanic Women of Distinction Charity luncheon. Presented by Latina Magazine in partnership with Bank of America.
As one of the sponsors of Hispanic Women of Distinction, Sawgrass Mills will once again entertain the sell-out crowd of nearly 1,000 philanthropists, business leaders, elected officials and socialites with a memorable fashion presentation. Professional models will walk the 120 foot runway wearing stylish day and evening attire from celebrated fashion-forward retailers found at The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills, such as Bloomingdale’s – The Outlet Store, Piazza Sempione Outlet, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH and Tommy Bahama Outlet.

The charity luncheon will also feature a silent auction to benefit Light of the World Clinic, a free volunteer medical facility founded in 1989 by the late Dr. Erwin Vasquez, plus sponsor exhibits, raffles and complimentary mojitos.
The event is centered around 12 Latina honorees and a Latina Pioneer. The 2012 Latina Pioneer of the Year will be presented to Nelly Rubio. The 2012 Hispanic Women of Distinction honorees include Rixys Alfonso, Leila Cobo, Xiomara Fraga, Dr. Elizabeth King, Liliam M. Lopez, Mercedes J. Nunez, Maribel Quiala, Sandra Ramon-Vilarasau, Felicia Rodriguez, Yolanda A. Rodriguez, Yvonne Salas and Aimee Sanchez-Zadak.
