Swim Week Day 2: Great Fashion at Funkshion, awesome event at W Hotel, breathtaking view at SLS hotel, Kim Kardashian at Delano By Betty Alvarez

Day 2 of this festive week is like no other. Great looking people and models stroll Collins Avenue heading towards or leaving parties and after-parties. The atmosphere is jolting with excitement.

First I wanted to go to W Hotel but my temptations first went to the Funshion Fashion tent where I caught the first glimpse of Ada and Toxic Sadie, Elle & Ella, and Guria. Great models sporting great designer swim suits. The area was packed but I was fortunate enough to have a space for me. The colors and fabrics were all brilliantly made. It made a great night to start.

Then I went to the Salon Allure Opening Night party at the W Hotel poolside. While I was looking for a spot to take my photos, I ran into a PR friend of mine and she placed me in front row. It was very easy to take the photos. What I heard there were about 75 designers that were part of this exclusive fashion show and it was hot. At each interval, the Brazilian drummer excited the crowd for the next line-up. Cocktails were courtesy of Grey Goose. Another great party that his hotel had.

On my way to the Delano, I went to SLS Hotel as they hosted the afterparty for the Make-A-Wish Fashion Show with Niki Poulos. It was my first time at the hotel and it was fabulous. The hotel is gorgeous and I the pool area is spectacular. The big rubber ducky was a no miss to guests as they enter the area. Smartwater sponsored the event.

Lastly, I made my stop at the Delano where Midori presented Kim Kardashian party hosted by Ocean Drive Magazine. The backdrop for Midori where decorated in small bottle of Midori which gave it a good look and Midori infused cocktails were the special of the day. However, I did see Kim Kardashian but then I saw a big lighted camera on the far corner of the pool area. As I headed over there, she was there. She gave a speech thanking everyone who came and was surprised by an artist who painted a portrait of hers in top speed. The place was kicking and so were the people.

Great 2nd night out!!
