Enjoy a blast from the past as the All-Star Doo Wop Revival, featuring Jay Siegel’s Tokens, Doo Wop Mob and Lenny Cocco & The Chimes, comes to The Pavilion at the all-new Seminole Casino Coconut Creek. Underlining the 1950s theme of the month at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, the groups will perform on Saturday, June 23 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, June 24 at 2 p.m.

Jay Siegel, recognizable with his soaring falsetto voice, joined the Linc-Tones in 1955 and the group name was changed to The Tokens. The multitalented vocal group is best known for its classic mega hits “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” and “Tonight I Fell in Love,” which sold more than 1 million copies and were awarded gold discs. Over the years, The Tokens have shared the stage with such greats as The Beatles, Chuck Berry and Little Richard.

The Doo Wop Mob consists of former 5 Sharks member Steve Horn, former leader singer of the original Riffs Joe Locicero, former lead singer of the Imaginations Frank Mancuso, as well as former members of the Riffs and Reunion Carmine DeSena and Walter Hochhauser. The lovable quintet is well-known for their fabulous routines, which are only topped by their incredible harmonies while singing the greatest rock, oldies and doo wop hits of all time.

Lenny Cocco & The Chimes came together under the director of lead singer Lenny Cocco in the mid-1950s. Their first single was a version of Tommy Dorsey’s “Once in a While,” which became an instant hit and peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100 list. The group is also well known for their popular follow up single “I’m in the Mood for Love,” a song from the 1930s.
