Acclaimed postgraffism artist, Alex Yanes of the Surface Merchants, will present a solo exhibition, “Places of Origin“ during this Saturday’s Art Walk in the Bird Road Art District. Warehouse Alternative Space will be kicking off the summer, block party style, with an all new exhibition featuring Yanes’ strikingly colorful 2 and 3D pieces on wood. The indoor/outdoor warehouse style gallery will house over 20 of Alex’s signature, works, including his custom, wall-mounted iPod docking stations, complete with built-in speaker systems. Beat the summer heat with complimentary Mike’s Hard Lemonade and tunes by the always-alluring DJ YSL.
