Tickets are $150 per person for VIP, and $20 for general admission. General admission enjoys the art, auction, and party plus one hour open bar. VIP tickets include all of the above, two hour open bar plus a chance to try all 9 exotic tapas.

Hosted by local band Afrobeta, “UnderGROUND Miami” will be a multifaceted event kicking off with a cocktail reception courtesy of VeeV Acai Spirit & Naked Grape Wine and silent auction. We will then lead up to the cook off where guests will watch as three of Miami’s top chefs battle it out to win the title of Miami’s “BEST INVASIVORE CHEF!” The main ingredients are exotic invasive species found in South Florida such as lionfish, wild boar, and python. To accompany these tasty invaders, the chefs will be using local, organic ingredients from South Florida farms, including Fertile Earth’s very own farm in Homestead. This year’s top chefs include:

· Chef Bradley Herron, chef de cuisine of Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink
· Chef Timon Balloo, executive chef of Sugarcane Raw Bar Grill
· Chef Todd Erickson, executive chef of Haven South Beach

VIP guests will be more than just tasters, sampling a total of nine tapas-style plates. For the evening they will become “invasivores”, enjoying exotic delights that are both sustainable and beneficial for the local environment. The audience will then vote for their favorite chef. All this will be accompanied by an interactive art show sponsored by the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs.
