Orchestra Miami kicks celebrates its Fifth Anniversary season with an intimate evening of chamber music-Join Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi, as she performs with Concert Master Mei Mei Luo, Principal Viola Richard Fleischman, Principal Clarinet Richard Hancock, Principal Harp Deborah Fleisher, Principal Cello Christopher Glansdorp, Violinist Tomas Cotik, Principal Flute Karen Dixon and Principal Bass Janet Clippard in this entertaining and engaging evening of classical music.

The program begins with Ravels’ lush and sensuous Introduction and Allegro for Harp, Flute, Clarinet and String Quartet, followed by a rarely heard gem, the Piano Trio in B Major, Op. 76 for Piano, Violin, Viola and Cello by Joaquín Turina. Following intermission, the audience will be treated to one of the great classics of all time, Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet for Piano, Violin, Viola Cello and Double Bass. Preceding the “trout”, a surprise special guest artist will appear to perform “Die Forelle”, the charming song whose theme is used for the basis of the quintet’s fourth movement.
