eMERGE is an innovative fashion trade show for upcoming and emerging brands, to showcase their collections to the best boutiques and retailers. Most conventional trade shows do not focus their attention on independent companies that are yearning for exposure in the fashion market. eMERGE is here to assist these brands in growing their business to become the next big “IT” FACTOR. Brands attending eMERGE are breaking barriers and aren’t afraid to take risks to be a recognizable force in the market, and therefore, they will….”ARISE AND CONQUER”

On October 15, various up-and-coming designers and retailers will showcase their collections through exhibition or runway presentation at the second annual eMERGE Trade show. A full day of events, from noon-to-nine at night, welcomes media, members of the fashion industry for buy and also local fashionistas and fashion bloggers to view fashions from designers across the United States and Canada. Held in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District at the Zadok Art Gallery, eMERGE2 brings together the future of fashion to third largest fashion capital in the United States.

Titled eMERGE2 for this year’s event, the producers of eMERGE, Sherreth Stewart and Raymond Sancristobal, collaborate yet again to encourage these young brands to “ARISE AND CONQUER.” The tradeshow “offers exhibitors cost effective pricing for their new brand and the opportunity to showcase their collections and learn to deal with retailers first hand.” Stewart continues, “[the show] is equally important in its exposure upon this particular demographic to the city of Miami and its diverse cultures.

This year’s event is star studded; from Maxim Model Red Carpet Host Aisha Thalia to South Florida’s DJ Sandman. The day of fashion, sponsored by Three Olives Vodka, Vita Coco, Pop chips, Best Buy, JQ Productions and MontagePR, will include designers of streetwear, swimwear, women’s ready-to-wear and men’s casual wear. Select exhibitors will display their brands from noon until five o’clock; while the runway event, headlined by Aluna Swimwear, lasts from six until nine.

A donation is requested at the door in lieu of general admission fees; proceeds of which each of the at minimum five dollars give by each attendant shall benefit both the American Cancer Society and Project K.I.T.E. Both causes are near and dear to the hearts of the show producers Sherreth and Ray. After seeing firsthand the pain and suffering her late mother experienced during her trials, battles and treatments of Cancer, Sherreth personally connects with victims afflicted and families affected by the diseases; it is one of her mission’s aside from producing eMERGE to aid and grow Cancer research. The second cause, Project K.I.T.E. is a philanthropic organization in which Raymond co-founded with Norlan Delgado in 2009 to insure that every child has the opportunity to succeed and achieve success. Through a series of programs and outreach activities, Raymond and Norlan provide positive experiences, healthy alternatives as well as resources necessary in the development of society’s future leaders.
