Wondering what to do with the kids this Labor Day weekend? Look no further! Zoo Miami and LivingSocial, the online and mobile source for great local values and experiences, are proud to offer one of the best deals in town with $5 Days Presented by LivingSocial.

$5 Days will take place September 3 – 5, 2011 between 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Zoo Miami. Tickets may be purchased here.

Zoo Miami is proud to announce $5 Days presented by LivingSocial as the first in a series of daily deals encompassing a unique partnership connecting Zoo Miami, one of South Florida’s biggest attractions, to LivingSocial’s millions of high-value members.

“We are excited about our partnership with LivingSocial and encourage everyone to get online to purchase their $5 Day tickets on August 24,” said Zoo Miami Director Eric Stephens. “When we offered this opportunity last year, it was met with great success and we are happy to offer it again.”

“LivingSocial’s goal is to help our members discover great experiences and new activities in their neighborhoods,” said Mandy Cole, SVP of sales for LivingSocial. “Working with Zoo Miami allows us to offer a number of amazing opportunities for our members to interact with this distinctive zoo in unique ways.”

Zoo visitors who take advantage of $5 Days presented by LivingSocial will experience more than 2,000 animals, lushly landscaped walkways, zoo keeper talks, water play areas where kids can cool down and run around, newly born animals and much more. Guests will be able to have up close and personal encounters by feeding giraffes or a greater one-horned rhinoceros. Great memories can be brought home with zoo pictures at Camel Rides, at the Diego Meet & Greet or giraffe feeding. Plus guests can pet, brush and feed animals at the brand new Wacky Barn and Children’s Zoo, rent safari cycles, take a tram tour and ride the monorail.

The LivingSocial deal for $5 will go live at 5:01 a.m., August 24, 2011. Limited tickets will be available for each of the three days. For more information, guests can visit www.zoomiami.org. Parking is free and guests with the Annual Pass are admitted free 365 days a year.

General admission to the zoo is usually $15.95 for adults (13+) and $11.95 for children (ages 3 to 12) plus tax. Admission is free for children ages 2 and younger and 25% off for seniors. Zoo Miami’s hours are 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.; ticket booths close at 4 p.m.
