An Evening of Experimental Music

fsik huvnx, Pocket of Lollipops, Richard Vergez, and Susan Telemetry will present an evening of experimental music and performance at the Center. fsik huvnx will create atmospheres of ambient noise through the use of instruments, field recordings, tape, and other media. Richard Vergez will focus on the use of microphones as instruments with the aid of tape loops and electric guitar.
Expect sophisticated punk rock, prog rock, shoe gaze, and electronics from Pocket of Lollipops. And Susan Telemetry will feature deconstructed live drums, electronics, and sampling. Admission is free for members and $10 for non-members.

This special night is part of the Center’s Fifth All-Media Juried Biennial exhibition, which is on display through Sunday, June 5. Sixty-six works by 34 Florida-based artists were chosen for the exhibition, which includes paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, photography, video, computer-generated images, site-specific installations, and performance art.
