The Bakehouse Art Complex (BAC), South Florida’s premier center for emerging and mid-career artists, is celebrating is 25th anniversary by hosting a fun and exciting Family Day on Sunday, April 17th, 2011.
Family Day has been developed by the BAC to provide an opportunity for families to experience, engage and learn more about the arts and their local art community, as well as to provide an opportunity for young children to explore and discover their artistic interests. By participating in various activities from finger crocheting, bead making, circuit-building, drawing and painting, families will interact and learn directly from BAC resident artists and nurture their creativity! BAC Family Day will also offer families the opportunity to pose for a unique family portrait!
Sponsored by Miami’s Salon Group, BAC Family Day will also feature a wonderful live jazz concert presented by WDNA (88.9FM). Miami’s infamous food trucks will be on hand to provide lunch and snacks.
BAC Family Day and 25th anniversary celebration event is scheduled for Sunday, April 17th, 2011 from noon-4pm and is just $5.00 per family for the full day of fun! Children will go home with their very own artwork they’ve created in a special BAC tote bag.
