Be part of a history-making event– and success!
After a highly successful event in 2010 that attracted more than 35,000 people, the City of Miami Beach is gearing up for another historic Gay Pride Parade and Festival on Saturday, April 16, 2011.

The largest single-day event of the year in Miami Beach, the Pride Parade and Festival is an extraordinary all-day event that features a loud and colorful parade followed by an enormous festival with exciting celebrities and musical performances, LGBT-friendly vendors and businesses, refreshments, food and a family-friendly play area.

Again for 2011, one of the highlights of Pride will be a salute to “Legacy Couples” – committed LGBT partners who have been together for 20 or more years who will march and ride together in recognition of their commitment and in affirmation of marriage equality. To register as a Legacy Couple for the 2011 parade, email Pride Director Cindy Brown at: cindy@maimibeachgaypride.com.

Also returning for 2011 will be the 2nd Annual Miami Beach Pride Cruise to The Bahamas, April 18 – 22. For more information on the Pride Cruise, visit www.pridecruise.com.

Because of the overwhelming success of the last two Pride events, Miami Beach Gay Pride has been expanded this year to five extraordinary days OUT. From Saturday to Friday, exciting events leading up to the Pride Parade and Festival will include a Women’s Art Conference, an Interfaith Service, a film night and more.
