7th Annual Fight for Air Climb Miami
To benefit the American Lung Association of Florida
A vertical 55-story climb to the top of the Wachovia Financial Center

Registration fee is $15.00 ($25.00 after February 15th), and there is a pledge minimum of $100 per climber to participate. Register online at: www.fightforairclimbmiami.org.

To raise funds for the important work of the American Lung Association through a unique physical challenge. Proceeds from the climb go directly to local research, education, and advocacy efforts that help to save lives by preventing lung disease and promoting healthy lungs.

The American Lung Association has been putting on stair climb events across the nation for decades as a fun twist on the athletic fundraiser. Due to the great success of this unique event over the past six years, along with the great enthusiasm of the community and participants, the 2011Fight For Air Climb Miami is set to be bigger and better than ever! The climb is professionally timed and ranked and awards are presented in a variety of categories, giving participants an opportunity to compete against the clock and conquer their quest to climb 55 stories!

Many of the expected 500 climbers will be participating as part of a corporate team and many will be there to climb in honor or in memory of a loved one with lung disease. Many local firefighters and fire rescue departments will climb in full-gear to support the cause.
