Consumer Event to Take Place in Macyâ€™s Dadeland with Live Music, Gifts and More
Procter and Gambleâ€™s (NYSE:PG) Downy fabric softener and Macyâ€™s (NYSE:M) have partnered to bring consumers an incomparable bedroom experience by combining the â€œmagicâ€ of Macyâ€™s sheets with the long-lasting freshness benefits of Ultra Downy April Fresh. To help consumers achieve this experience, Downy and Macyâ€™s will encourage them to take the â€œClean Sheet Weekâ€ Challenge by using Ultra Downy April Fresh on their new sheets from Macyâ€™s and discover the long-lasting fresh result. To encourage this, Macyâ€™s Dadeland will host an exciting event with live entertainment, giveaways and more. Also, the store will hand out a special, limited-time only Downy gift with purchases of any sheets. The gift-with-purchase will include a sample of Ultra Downy April Fresh and a $1 coupon for a full size bottle of the product, which can be redeemed at any retailer where Downy is sold.
A National Sleep Foundation 2010 Bedroom Poll, made possible by an educational grant from Downy, inspired the Downy and Macyâ€™s partnership when it revealed numerous insights about the relationship between sleep and sheets with a fresh scent.
