Ruby Slipper Cocktail for Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theater at China Grill Fort Lauderdale 1/19/11

On Wednesday, January 19, Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre and China Grill will host the highly anticipated Ruby Slipper Cocktail Party at China Grill Fort Lauderdale. The Cocktail Party serves as a precursor to the Children’s Theatre 2011 Grande Crystal Ball – The Emerald City, an event drawing inspiration from “The Wizard of Oz” and its musical progeny “The Wiz” and “Wicked.”

To ensure partygoers have a wickedly good time, the Theatre is raffling a pair of luxury shoes by world-renowned Italian shoe designer Craziano Cucco of LoriBlu. Shoe aficionados will get their first look at LoriBlu’s über-chic styles while sipping on “Ozmopolitans”, “Glindatinis” or “Ruby Red Martinis” compliments of Southern Wine & Spirits. The lucky winner will get to select the shoe style of her choice or take home a pair of fabulous LoriBlu red crystal stilettos…shoes to die for!

Event co-chairs Katie Leach and Kim Sweers, encourage advance reservations to attend the soiree. Ticket price is only $25 and raffle tickets may be purchased 1 for $50 or 3 for $100. RSVP and purchase tickets on-line at www.flct.org. Tickets will also be available the night of the event. All proceeds benefit Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre. Event Sponsors include: China Grill, City & Shore Magazine, LoriBlu and Little’s Photography.

Committee members are Janet Buhl, Christina Carter, Beth Gillon, Aimee Hooper, Randi Karmin, Jennifer Little-Kiss, Melissa Milroy, Stacy Moss, Susan Penrod, Michaele Rand, Michele Simon, and Kelly Toole.
