Thursday, December 16th is complimentary and open to the public, however, reservations are required.
Gala Fundraiser: Friday, December 17, 2010 at 6:30 p.m., there will be a cocktail reception and after-show party and tickets are $30. All proceeds benefit the FIU Hope for Haiti Task Force RTG’s Student Scholarship Fund.

The organizations have partnered to present an original adaptation of Charles Dickens holiday classic, A Christmas Carol, featuring a cast of 28 students, ages 9-22. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the FIU Hope for Haiti Task Force, comprised of university leaders who coordinate efforts and unify the response to the Haiti disaster.

Comprised of actors, singers and musicians, representing over 21 different schools and colleges in Miami-Dade County, the young ensemble is directed by local professional director and Theatre Professor at Florida International University (FIU), Phillip M. Church. The exuberant cast is also accompanied on stage by RTG staff and local teachers.

A Christmas Carol features redemption, friendship, love and the values of the holiday season. Adapted for the stage and directed by Phillip M. Church and based on the novel by Charles Dickens.
