The Moksha Art Fair, featuring the very best in visionary art, music and performance is happening again during the week of Art Basel Miami Beach, December 2-4, 2010 at 7th Circuit Studios (228 NE 59th Street, Miami, FL 33137).

The opening reception will commence at 6pm on Thursday, December 2nd with the Moksha Gallery expo, featuring world-renowned visionary artists Alex Grey and Allyson Grey, Robert Venosa, Martina Hoffman, Mark He…nson, Fred Weidmann, Amanda Sage, Chris Dyer, Alex Sastoque, and shaman Francisco Montes Shuñea. Local painters Jose Mertz, Donna Torres, Eva Ruiz, Reinier Gamboa, Baba Trips, Arnold Steiner, Joe Abbati, Alissa Christine, Ryan Cacolicci and Anya Nadal will also be showcased, in addition to other artists still to be confirmed.

A panel discussion moderated by archeologist, ethnobotanist, and F.I.U. Pre-Columbian Art Professor, Constantino Manuel Torres Ph.D., is scheduled to begin at 8pm, followed by the anticipated unveiling of the new Moksha symbol by artist Adam Scott Miller.

On Saturday, Dec. 4th, get transported into a unique multi-sensory experience through eclectic displays of live painting, music, sacred environments and performances at the main event celebration. The musical lineup ranges from international electronic acts to live world fusion bands, including: David Starfire, Phutureprimitive, Satchi Om, Okulus Anomali, Jebus, FTG, Indovisual, DJ Cloud, the Moksha All Stars (a group made up of members from international touring local bands like the Spam All Stars, Locos Por Juana, Suénalo and others), Out of the Anonymous, Arboles Libres, Rhythm Flow and much more.

Incorporated throughout the evening will be multiple live performances by TRM Circus, Pyrofusion, Ferronhyte, Acrotropical Synergy, and others. Additionally, video art by Jonathan Singer, Psyberpixie, Parker, and deco art by Funktionforms and structures by Harlan Emil will be featured.

This event is a co-presentation of the Moksha Family Arts Collective & Community Arts and Culture.
