The Roxy Theatre Group In collaboration with What If Works & FIU Alternative Theatre Festival Present A Free Reading Of The Holiday Classic, A Christmas Carol

These three organizations have partnered to present a reading of their upcoming production, A Christmas Carol (December 16-22). This adaptation of Charles Dickens’ holiday classic features a cast of 22 students, ages 9-22. A portion of the proceeds from the upcoming production will benefit FIU Hope for Haiti, a task force comprised of university leaders who coordinate efforts and unify the response to the Haiti disaster.

Comprised of actors, singers and musicians, the young ensemble is directed by local professional director and Theatre Professor at Florida International University (FIU), Phillip M. Church.
All rehearsals for A Christmas Carol are open to the public.

A Christmas Carol features redemption, friendship, love and the values of the holiday season. Originally adapted for the stage by Phillip M. Church and based on the novel by Charles Dickens.
