Presented by Freedom Art, FOR ART’S SAKE! is an art series highlighting outstanding work in illustration & design. Freedom Art’s goal, through FOR ART’S SAKE!, is to showcase and support high-caliber artists and designers, as well as enhance and encourage the growth of the arts in the area.

ARTIST MEET AND GREET LUNCHEON: In conjunction with Birdwatch there will be an Artist Meet and Greet as well as a Luncheon Lecture & Workshop May 29, 2010. The Meet and Greet will be a great opportunity for you to come and meet the artists as they will be selling signed, limited edition prints.

LECTURES & WORKSHOP: At the Lecture and Workshop visitors will have a chance to ask questions and learn what it takes to create an art print as some of the selected artists demonstrate their process. Visitors will also be able to take part in a silkscreen workshop. You will also take home a print sample of the silk-screen work you do at no extra cost.
