Miami-Dade County Commissioner Joe A. Martinez (District 11) and The Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum will host the seventh annual Creative Visions 2010 student art exhibition. The exhibition features talented artists from District 11 Miami-Dade County Public Schools, including elementary, middle and high school students. For the past seven years, hundreds of school aged children have participated in this unique arts competition.

Creative Visions 2010, an annual juried exhibition held in May at The Frost Art Museum, was conceived in 2004 to highlight the artistic achievements of K-12 children in District 11. It also honors the M-DCPS art teachers who promote the visual arts in our community. Elementary, middle and high school students enter two and three-dimensional art work and videos in this juried show. A panel of judges selects winners who will receive scholarship awards. This annual exhibition is the product of a unique partnership between The Frost Art Museum, the office of Commissioner Joe A. Martinez (District 11), the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs and Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Division of Life Skills- Art Education Program.
