The Sony Ericsson Open and Bombay Sapphire Gin have teamed up to form a five-event Happy Hour Series taking place at various locations around South Florida leading up to the annual tennis tournament, to be played March 22 – April 4.

The Series will kick-off this Friday, February 19 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Sports Exchange Restaurant & Bar and Tarpon Bend Food & Tackle, located next door to each other at 45 Miracle Mile in Coral Gables. The other locales of the Series include the Himmarshee Bar and Grille in Ft. Lauderdale on February 26, the Clevelander Hotel in South Beach on March 5, Novecento Restaurant in Brickell on March 12, and Max’s Grille in Boca Raton on March 19.

At each event, there will be ticket giveaways to the 2010 Sony Ericsson Open, as well as the Bombay Sapphire Cocktail Experience, where individuals age 21 and up, can learn to make their own cocktail from Bombay Sapphire mixologists. Featured at each stop will be the Sapphire Ace, the official cocktail of the Sony Ericsson Open.

Bombay Sapphire is in its fourth year of sponsorship with the Sony Ericsson Open, and will once again host an upscale lounge on the tournament grounds, where patrons can enjoy signature cocktails throughout the schedule of matches.
