Miami International Fashion Week, the largest Latin American and international fashion event in the U.S., is gearing up for the highly anticipated March event with its star-studded Kick-Off Party February 18th. Celebrities, models and fashionistas will illuminate the night’s festivities, taking place at the renowned Gary Nader Fine Art Gallery in Miami’s trendy Wynwood Art District (62 NW 27th Street,) the largest gallery in the world.
Co-hosted by Tiffany & Co., the Miami International Fashion Week Kick-Off Party will provide a glimpse into the glamour and innovation of the main event in March, with a fashion presentation by Miami’s most prestigious designers. Guests will savor delicacies prepared by local celebrity chefs, as the wine and champagne flow throughout the night. Kick-Off Party goers will also have the chance to bid on a wide variety of fashionable items at the evening’s silent auction. For the first time in the 12-year history of Miami International Fashion Week, Humanitarian Awards will be bestowed upon several recognizable names and faces from the South Florida community. The ten Humanitarian Award recipients will be honored in recognition of their philanthropic contributions of time and support to making Miami a better place to live.
The evening will benefit the Miami Fashion Week Foundation Scholarship Fund which supports the winners of the Miami International Fashion Week competitions in student fashion design, fashion photography, graphic arts and filmmaking.
