Street artist Shepard Fairey unveils a new variation of Arab Woman on MAM’s exterior during Art Basel Miami Beach. The project will be visible from the Miami Dade Cultural Center Plaza at 101 West Flagler Street, Miami, FL 33130. Produced in conjunction with Country Club gallery and the Fountainhead Residency, the project coincides with an outdoor project 2700 NW 2nd Ave.

Miami Art Museum will hold the annual Parodi lecture in Philosophy of Art on Sunday, December 6, at 11am. This year’s lecture, titled Diagrammatic Spaces will be given by philosopher John Rajchman. Rajchman, adjunct professor, Department of Art History at Columbia University, will look at the relationship between space and image in contemporary art. The Parodi lecture is offered in conjunction with the University of Miami, Department of Philosophy. The lecture is free. Refreshments will be served following the lecture.
