Be a part of Art Is Life on 3/27/09

All submitted artwork from the “View of Youth Homelessness” contest will be displayed! This represents over 100 pieces in all. Our postcard (front and back) is attached.

More than 2300 homeless youth go to school in Miami-Dade County. Countless others are on their own, trying to keep their dreams alive. As a group of volunteers, StandUp For Kids works with these youth every day. We are vital a homeless and runaway youth outreach and mentoring program in Miami, and we’re hosting an important art benefit on 3/27/09. It’s called ART IS LIFE. Come out, have fun, spread awareness and learn about our dream of building a drop-in center.
